Saving Seeds
I’ve had a garden for over 30 years, small but sweet. Now, that I’m almost to the end, I’ve got a system of saving and regenerating.
Heritage seeds can be saved from the fruit, dried and put into little jars for future years. Some seeds can last in jars like this, left over winter in the shed, for several winters before they expire.
Recycling jars
It’s hard to toss something that can be used again. I like to use a “disposable” containers at least one more time. Glass jars have a kind of beauty. Everlasting of sorts. Days soon to go by and replaced with the more pollute-able, plastic.
